Boosting Indian Exports through Incentive Rewards
The MEIS Scheme was introduced under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20 to promote the export of specified goods to international markets by offering direct incentives in the form of duty credit scrips. These rewards helped reduce transaction costs and improve competitiveness.
Although MEIS has been phased out and replaced by the RoDTEP scheme, businesses that exported during the MEIS-valid period can still apply for benefits and process pending claims.
At SS Industrial Consultancy, we offer complete advisory and claim filing services for MEIS-related incentives.

Incentive rates ranged from 2% to 5% of FOB value of exports
Duty credit scrips could be used to pay customs duties

Scrips were transferable and valid for 18 months
Claims had to be filed within 12 months from the Let Export Date

Even after MEIS discontinuation, exporters can still claim pending benefits if they meet compliance requirements and deadlines. We ensure no eligible incentive is left unclaimed.
